Veicināt vides aizsardzības apziņu izprotošas un dabas resursu saudzējošas sabiedrības veidošanos Latvijā, veicot Zaļā sertifikāta uzturēšanu un izplatīšanu lauku tūrismā.

Projekta mērķauditorija:

Lauku tūrisma uzņēmēji Latvijā – lauku tūrisma mītņu un lauku mazo ražojošo uzņēmumu saimnieki. Šobrīd Latvijā ir 77 saimniecības, kurām ir piešķirts Zaļais sertifikāts. Institūcijas, uzņēmumi, organizācijas, kas nodarbojas ar vides jautājumiem Latvijā. Tūristi, sabiedrība, kas vēlas atpūsties un izzināt videi draudzīgus lauku tūrisma objektus.

The specific aim of the project is to develop and disseminate On-line Training „Design of eco-friendly rural tourism services by SMEs” (on-line training tool with an on-line check-list and printable handbook version for reading and reference) which would strengthen the link between adult learning and working life in rural SME sector.

Aims on participant level:

  • access to quick learning and practical learning contents answering present work life needs,
  • opportunity to acquire field specific and practical knowledge in designing a competitive, eco-friendly service,
  • opportunity to improve competitiveness due to better performance in work life.

Aims on organization level:

  • improved capacities to provide adequate adult training to suite work-life needs and assist educators with work-life based training tool and contents.

Aims on sector level:

  • improved competitiveness of rural tourism SMEs sector as part of rural economy in project partner countries.

Zaļā Sertifikāta pretendentu pārbaude

LVAF

The project “Livonian Culinary Route” strengthens the identity of our common culinary heritage, promotes the historical significance and impact of Livonia on today’s modern cuisine and tastes of Estonia and Latvia, and involves over 250 food providers and producers from both countries.

 

Interreg V-A — Estonia–Latvia

The project goal is to promote conservation and renovation of the old horticultural plant cultivars and their products through involvement of the horticultural heritage gardens in tourism. During the project, experts from research institutes and museums will provide consultations on advantages of historical cultivars and gardening to those garden owners interested to open their gardens for tourists. Latvian and Lithuanian countryside tourism organisations will help them to shape the garden tourism product, will create a heritage garden tour and take care for marketing to promote the heritage gardens and old cultivars.

Interreg V-A Latvia – Lithuania

Project goal is to build and promote a sustainable cross-border heritage based agritourism product covering all programme area in Latvia and Lithuania, in order to preserve cultural heritage, develop and promote cultural heritage based services and  products to increase the number of visitors in the programm area. 

The product will represent open farms where visitors can see and experience rural heritage in attractive way through farm visits, guided excursions and master classes to demonstrate heritage in todays life (bread baking, pottery etc.), tourism accommodation, interactive museum collections, product tasting, farm shops.

Interreg V-A Latvia – Lithuania

To create a tourism product involving 4 small ethnic culture regions based on the uniqueness of living heritage cultures recognized by UNESCO.

Coastal Hiking Route along the Baltic Sea Coastline in Latvia and Estonia

Project goal is to develop a hiking tourism route along the Baltic sea coastline in Estonia and Latvia. The route will stretch along the Southwest coastline in Latvia, starting from the border with Lithuania and through Latvia (~532km) to Laane county region in Estonia (382km) and further to the capital of Estonia – Tallinn in total ca 1100 km. The hiking route will be a sustainable tourism product that highlights cultural and natural heritage along the coastline, is friendly to nature, cultural environment and local economy. 

One of the highest added values of the project is a tourism product that is developed jointly and covers territories in two countries. 


About the Baltic Coastal Hiking route

SEEDs among NEETs is a strategic partnership for exchanging of good practices and is a result for needs for youth workers and organizations in the rural areas of 6 European countries to combat the NEETs phenomenon (BG, LV, MT, PT,RO,SL).

TastyCheeseTOUR

The goal of the project is to develop blended itineraries in rural and deprived regions that produce high quality cheese, mainly Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Traditional Specialty Guaranteed (TSG) and Protected Goegraphical Indication (PGI) in Spain, Slovenia, Malta, Italy, Latvia and Bulgary. The project will achieve the following goals:

  • encourage the diversification of the supply of tourism products and services;
  • improve awareness and market uptake of the European natural, cultural and industrial heritage and gastronomy for local communities and visitors;
  • support economic regeneration and job creation through SME capacity building in partner regions.

BALTIC SEA CULINARY ROUTES

The aim of the project: Developing the Culinary Routes network in the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea in order to strengthen the identity and the feeling of belonging together as well as to preserve the vitality of rural regions. In this:

  • to strengthen the Baltic Sea identity;
  • to improve recreation in rural areas with local food for urbanised citizens;
  • to keep countryside alive and to strengthen its livelihood;
  • to support healthy dietary habits by providing fresh local clean food.
