The main objective of the project is to contribute to the sustainable rural tourism targets at the European level by developing the skills of business owners, managers, employees, VET students and potential entrepreneurs in the rural tourism sector by an innovative and easily accessible training method. Within the scope of the project, activities will be carried out to develop the capacities of the people who are active or will be active in the rural tourism sector through created e-learning environment.

During the project will be prepared:

• a comprehensive sectoral report on the rural tourism for all partner countries;
• a training material that can be used for formal, informal and non-formal vocational education/training;
• an OER e-learning program that can be used on internet and easily accessible from the mobile application;
• a good practice examples guide and videos from rural tourism sector in partner countries;
• mobile apps for the project e-learning platform.

By the completion of the project will be contributed to ensuring a more sustainable business environment in the rural tourism sector by capacity building of the workers and employers through training. Also, the project will contribute to increase the number and quality of tourism enterprises in rural areas. With the changing approach, the preference of rural tourism by the tourists will be increased with the diversifying rural activities in the long term.
